The dudes got this album in the mail about a week ago.
Here's what I think of it.
I don't think I like it, but I'm not mad at it. Lyrics are cheese-ball. Example: From the song "Impolite"- "I walk the line like Johnny Cash..." Really? Doubt it.
Their other song, "How We Roll" has a bad title and also sounds like the Josie and the Pussycats soundtrack.
However, I really like the song "Dancing in a Minefield." It's cute.
I like his voice, but overall, I think he's a bit too late. It's something I would've loved to have help me cross over from listening to Mest and MXPX to The Metric and The Postal Service.
At any rate, the album doesn't come out 'til February 17th, 2009. That's the same day as Michael Jordan's birthday, so at least there'll be something to celebrate.
